It's a different world than where you came from...
They charged me tax on my smoothie. They do that here.They also have sunlight until really late and manymanymany tv channels and they eat inside when it's really hot or really cold.
I'm in Chicago for two weeks.

I had to laugh at this...especially since I just said to my co-worker "shall we have lunch on the patio today or eat inside the resturant?" She looked at me like I was crazy and said "Inside, it's too hot to eat outside." We wait months and months for this weather and then spend many hours of it indoors because it's too hot.
welcome to civilization.....or our ironic convoluted upside and backwards version of it.....where sleep times are reversed, people like airconditioning, and only the Animal Planet is a constant.
